It's elegant and refined with polished red berry fruits and saline minerals guided by brisk acidity. Long and staining, the 2021 finishes with a youthful grip and primary wild berry concentration, promising many years of positive development. Today, the 2021 is holding its power in reserve.

Layered and graceful, the 2021 Pinot Noir The Beaux Freres Vineyard pours a ripe ruby hue and reveals a beautiful perfume of orange rind, fresh red plum, clove spice, and rocky earth. Medium-bodied, with tremendous energy, fine tannins, a mineral texture, and a great, lightly toasty finish, it’s a gorgeous wine to drink over the next 10-12 years. Absolutely beautiful. Michael Etzel founded Beaux Freres in 1991 in Ribbon Ridge alongside his brother-in-law Robert Parker. In 2017, Parker and another investor sold their shares and Michael became partners with the Champagne and Burgundy house of Maison & Domaines Henriot. Today, Michael’s son Mikey has taken over the wine production. Michael purchased an adjacent property, Sequitur, which is a 12-acre vineyard he farms and where he produces wines today. Both Beaux Freres and Sequitur are farmed biodynamically.
