Bricky garnet. Strong leafy/cedary aroma. Lifted freshness. On the herbaceous side but dry in a refined way. Elegant in a herbaceous but not green style. Lithe and fresh. (JH)

Zesty lively transparent fruit. Racy. Long and rather impressive. Well balanced. Though not big. (Average group score: 16.5) (JR)

Much much paler than the 2004 and looks on the rim as though it's from another decade! Prunes and dried fruit on the nose. Relatively light and tired. A bit of heat on the finish. Drying finish. A bit baked. Absolutely classic 2003. Engerer says this is the most forward and you could start to sip it in three to four years. I'd start earlier than that. (JR)
