The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley) is absolutely delicious. Ripe, radiant and seductive, the 2015 is going to be nearly impossible to resist young. Even so, there is plenty of structural underpinning beneath all of the fruit. Sweet floral notes develop in the glass, adding lift, but above all else, the 2015 is a wine of textural voluptuousness, all in a silky, mid-weight style that is hugely appealing.

Brought up in 20% new French and American oak, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Hillside Vineyards is a forward, spice-filled effort that has a spicy, brambly style to go with lots of blue fruits, incense and potpourri aromas and flavors. Drink this medium-bodied, supple, forward effort over the coming decade or so. It has a dry edge to its tannin, yet I suspect they'll evolve nicely.

Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon is scented of baked berries, mulberries and kirsch with hints of espresso, black soil and tree bark. Full, rich and spicy in the mouth with slightly hard, chewy tannins, it finishes long and earthy.
