From the talented team of Stéphane Derenocourt, the 2014 Château Guadet is a pleasant, attractive effort offering a ruby/purple color, notes of mulberries, leather and herbes de Provence, medium body, bright acidity and a clean finish. Drink it over the coming 6-7 years

The 2014 Château Guadet has a perfumed, floral bouquet with rose petal infusing the red berry fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannin, good acidity and focus, with a pleasant saline tang on the rather abrupt finish. Hopefully it will fill out during the remainder of its élevage.

The 2014 Guadet boasts tremendous depth and pure, explosive energy. Red plum, game, smoke and savory notes abound. Intense and at times a bit rustic, the Guadet nevertheless possesses a strong voice and plenty of personality, both of which make it deeply intriguing. The blend is 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc.

80% de merlot, 20% de cabernet-franc. Un vin austère, droit, très représentatif de son terroir, belle longueur, tannins fermes. Il vieillira ben.
