Inky violet color. Deeply pitched black and blue fruit, floral, licorice and smoked meat qualities on the spice-accented nose. At once weighty and lithe, offering intense cassis, cherry preserve, bitter chocolate and fruitcake flavors and a building suggestion of candied flowers. Shows outstanding clarity and mineral lift on the penetrating finish, which hangs on with strong, spicy tenacity.
