2020 Domaine Pinson Frères Chablis Mont de Milieu 1er Cru

The 2020 Chablis Mont de Milieu 1er Cru has a perfumed, more floral, peach skin and dried honey-scented bouquet that gains vigor in the glass, developing more exotic coconut and tinned pineapple notes with aeration. The palate is more tropical than its peers. It has a core of pineapple and guava fruit, is slightly lower in acidity, and is appealing in a facile way but lacks the terroir expression one seeks in a Chablis at this level.
