The 2018 Reserve Claret is based on 56% Merlot, 41% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 3% Petit Verdot, and there are a tiny 610 cases produced. It's a beautiful, impeccably balanced 2018 that shows the vintage's straighter, more elegant style on the palate, and it's medium to full-bodied and has solid acidity as well as tannins. Offering up plenty of red and almost blue fruits as well as floral and sappy herb aromatics, this beautifully textured, silky red blend will drink nicely for upwards of two decades.

The 2018 Claret Reserve is a blend of two-thirds Merlot and one-thirds Cabernet Sauvignon. Bright floral accents give the 2018 its energetic, vibrant feel. It is a perfect example of the Pride style today - a style that increasingly balances fruit richness with bright acids and plenty of drive. The 2019 is absolutely exquisite.
