Score 89/100 · Drink 2015-2025, Robert Parker, Jun 2015

This over-performing property has come though once again with a lovely 2005 that is slightly denser, richer and darker than usual, but very well-made, with charcoal, tobacco leaf, spice box, and black and red currants. It is medium-bodied but rich, with some light tannin to resolve. Drink it over the next decade.

Especially pale. Lots of Sémillon character in pale, lively idiom. Very positive. Even slightly grassy but very refreshing and would be a lively complement to an oaked white burgundy. Good value. (JR)

Slightly dull looking red. Bloody and a little rustic. Hard tannins. Not fine. I fear I overestimated this en primeur. (JR)
