A blend anchored by the winery's Sacrashe Vineyard, the 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Kathryn Hall features scents of cinnamon, cedar, ripe cherries and some dusty-loam notes. It's full-bodied, lush, soft and expansive, adding in a touch of vanilla on the softly dusty finish. It's delicious but shows a bit less individualistic character than the Hall wines from Stags Leap and Diamond Mountain districts. (JC)

The 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Kathryn Hall is redolent of dark-toned fruit, new leather, espresso, menthol and licorice. It offers very good depth and plenty of persistence. The 2022 is a bit darker than usual. The Kathryn Hall is a blend of Sacrashe and sites on Mount Veeder and Diamond Mountain, plus a bit from the St. Helena Estate. This deep, resonant Cabernet has a lot to offer. (AG)

The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Kathryn Hall features upfront notes of dark chocolate, plums and black cherries on the nose, while the full-bodied palate is rich and velvety. It's a popular but slightly dated style, but it's well made and should be delicious over the short term.

Full bottle 1,515 g. Their top wine based mainly on fruit from Sacrashe vineyard, eastern Rutherford. Deep blackish crimson. Charred and focused nose. Lusciously sweet – quite a contrast to the new-wave drier, fresher, lighter wines! A bit hot on the end. Not my style but it should satisfy Big Napa Valley traditionalists. (JR)
