Deep crimson. Rich, round, tarry and sweet on the nose – slightly dusty fruit on the palate. Round and quite bloody on the palate as though there were quite a slug of Merlot in here. I'd hold on to it for a while longer. (JR)

A green overlay to this rather cool wine. Low key. Just a tad wimpish. (JR)

Bright dark red. Currant, mocha, leather, animal fur and earth on the rather sauvage nose. Supple and open-knit, with an attractive sweetness to the flavors of red cherry, raspberry, menthol and herbs. The herbal element carries through to the finish, where the chewy tannins turn a bit dry with air. No shortage of body here, and bright on the finish.
