The 2013 Chardonnay Coup de Coeur is a selection of the estate’s best barrels. Bright, focused and nicely textured, the 2013 offers lovely balance and class. Lemon confit, wild flowers, mint, white pepper and a host of orchard fruits shape the mid-weight, resonant finish. The 2013 offers quite a bit of intensity, but no excess weight. This is another spot on Chardonnay from Luc and Jodie Morlet

Lastly, the selection by Morlet of his favorite barrels is a five-barrel lot of 2013 Chardonnay Coup de Coeur. Pure orange marmalade, white peach, pineapple, mangos, subtle toast, great acidity and a liqueur of rocks underlie the wine's structure and intensity. This prodigious Chardonnay should age well for at least 10-15 years.
