The 2021 Bonnes-Mares Grand Cru has a strict nose, very focused, with fine fruit intensity. It builds wonderfully in the glass, one of the most impressive aromatics from this climat. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-boned tannins, quite linear and very saline, hints of black olive towards the poised finish. Very classy, but it may require a cellar for a few years.

Mortet's 2021 Bonnes-Mares Grand Cru opens in the glass with aromas of red berries, cherries, rose petals, spices and smoke. Medium to full-bodied, pure and precise, it's an elegant, vibrant wine, concluding with a long, sapid finish.
