Saturated magenta color. Powerful, finely detailed red and blue fruit preserve, exotic spice, potpourri and incense qualities develop on the intensely perfumed nose. As the wine opens up it picks up savory herb and musky underbrush notes. The Ceras stains the palate with alluringly sweet, deeply concentrated Chambord, boysenberry, cherry liqueur, licorice and lavender pastille flavors that show uncanny finesse for their power. Fine, talc-like tannins sneak in and add gentle grip to an extremely long, smooth finish that emphatically repeats the floral and spice notes.

Attractive, sappy and complex pinot aromas here with an array of roses and red cherries, as well as woody spices. This delivers an ultra-silky and concentrated palate with quite pure red fruit and a long, flavorsome and richly fleshy finish. Drink or hold.
