Good deep red. Enticing aromas of candied red fruits and rose petal. Sweet, juicy and pure, with a bright mineral character. Finishes with firm tannins that avoid dryness, and lovely aromatic persistence. Denser and more powerful than most previous vintages of this bottling.

Full deep red. Rather beefy, very ripe aromas of cherry, creme de framboise and earth. Sweet and intensely flavored but rather backward. Finishes with firm tannic grip and lingering licorice and menthol notes. Jeremy says this was even sweeter prior to the last racking and is a bit disjointed today.
