Good deep red. Tangy, pure aromas of raspberry, crushed stone and flowers. Intensely flavored, juicy and youthfully tight, with noteworthy precision to the tangy raspberry and stone flavors. Not fleshy but seductively aromatic on the unflagging finish, throwing off suggestions of spices and flowers. Like the Chaignots, this should be laid down for four or five years.

Very light nose but true colour. Bright, clear, energetic palate hit. Lots of structure but this seems vibrant enough to carry it. Not at all sweet – very correct Burgundy! Should not disappoint. True expression of vintage and place. (JR)

Medium red. Tangy red fruits lifted by a violety perfume. Sweet, lush and dense, with a sappy spice character to the raspberry and cherry flavors. This has a bit more flesh to buffer its acids than the Vosne villages, but here the tannins come across as a tad dusty.
