The 2011 Pinot Noir Three Corner is one of the more compact, inward wines in this vintage. There is plenty of energy and inner perfume, but the 2011 is showing only a bit of its true potential today. With time in the glass, the wine's delineation and energy become more prominent. Sweet floral notes reappear on the finish adding freshness and vibrancy, while silky tannins underpin the fruit. This is another gorgeous 2011 from Tom Rochioli.

(this is all Rochioli clone): Deep ruby. Exotic aromas of candied red fruits, incense and patchouli, with a bright mineral accent. Potent raspberry and bitter cherry flavors are surprisingly light on their feet and gain spiciness with air. Juicy and focused on the finish, which features silky tannins and a lingering floral quality.

This is another gorgeous 2011 from Tom Rochioli. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2021. Tom Rochioli describes 2011 as a cold vintage with lower ripeness and alcohol levels than the norm.
