Red plums, dark cherries, earth, dried spices and dried flowers. It’s medium-bodied with fine tannins and bright acidity. Pure and balanced with a velvety texture. Round and creamy with great freshness and a succulent, long finish. Drink or hold.

The 2018 Gevrey-Chambertin Aux Echézeaux exhibits aromas of cherries, plums, orange rind, smoked meats and loamy soil, followed by a medium to full-bodied, rich and succulent palate that's ripe and supple, concluding with a savory, meaty finish.

Cinnamon, toast, some fresh earth and wild cherries. Primary, peppery tannins give some structure and there’s decent length here too. A solid Gevrey. (TJ)
