40% Sangiovese Grosso, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot. Organic. 30 hl/ha, 300-450 m. Vinified and matured separately, 19 months in medium-toast French barriques. Blended and rested for four months in stainless steel prior to bottling. TA 6 g/l, pH 3.46, RS 1.6 g/l. 6,000 bottles. Current release! A bit tough, very chewy. Austere. Wait longer? (JR)
