FINE+RARE, Jan 2016

Incredible intensity on the nose shows ripe raspberry, herbs de Provence and subtle perfume. The palate is silky and finely textured with great fruit concentration - a wonderful balance of density and lightness. Flavours of sun-ripened red berry fruit, savoury herbs, white pepper and sweet spices and complemented by lively acidity. This wine is elegant with such incredible depth. Stunning.

Medium red. Alluring perfume of blueberry, dried rose, white pepper and leather, lifted by a minty high note. Plush and dense but vibrant too, with the flavors of berries and earth complicated by exotic spices. Fleshy and saline but I also find more energy here than in the young 2015. Finishes youthful and long, with excellent sappy grip. Superb.
