The 2010 Meursault Genevrières flows across the palate with serious richness and density. There is a honeyed, viscous quality to the Genevrières that I don't usually associate with Genevrières , while the more typical mineral elements are very much in the background, at least today. This is a gorgeous, opulent Meursault if taken on its own terms, but not very typical of Genevrières per se.

This is a gorgeous, opulent Meursault if taken on its own terms, but not very typical of Genevrieres per se. Anticipated maturity: 2014+. Morey-Blanc is the negociant operation Pierre Morey originally started with his wife to compensate for the loss of fruit from parcels he had previously farmed under a share cropping agreement with Comtes Lafon.
