Score 97/100 · Drink 2020-2038, Lisa Perrotti-Brown MW, Wine Advocate, Oct 2018

Blended of 89% Cabernet Sauvignon and 11% Cabernet Franc, the deep garnet-purple colored 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon features gregarious scents of mocha, sautéed herbs, licorice, cast iron pan and tilled soil over a core of dried mulberries, warm plums and crème de cassis. Big, rich and full-bodied, the palate is packed with savory and cassis-inspired layers, with a firm, chewy frame and long earthy finish. 580 cases produced, to be released in August 2019.

The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon has turned out beautifully. Plush, dense and explosive, the 2015 is bursting at the seams with intensity. The flavors and textures are beautifully layered in this sumptuous, vivid Cabernet from Seven Stones and winemaker Aaron Pott. Unfortunately, the 2015 won't be ready to drink anytime soon, so readers should be prepared to be patient. (AG)
