The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Vineyard Georges III is the first commercial release of a Cabernet Sauvignon from Williams Selyem, and it offers the vibrancy and freshness characteristic of the best 2019s in Napa. Opaque ruby-purple in color, the nose features cassis and red cherry with touches of cedar, chocolate and potpourri. The full-bodied palate has a concentrated core of graphite-laced fruit, a velvety texture and refreshing acidity. It's plush without being weighty, and it really opens up as it spends time in the glass, suggesting it still needs time in the bottle to unwind.
