Winemaker Benjamin Sichel. RS 2 g/l. 51% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, 9% Petit Verdot. Blackish crimson. Fresh, correct. Well spread over the palate. Actually a nice drink for now even if a little inky on the end and I fear it won’t make old bones. (JR)

D-Angludet performed much better from bottle than it did from cask. It reveals attractive floral, black cherry, blueberry, licorice, and asphalt characteristics in its medium-bodied, ripe, round, elegant personality. Enjoy it over the next 5-6 years.

Pale crimson. Very discreet nose but well balanced. Very easy and quite soft. Well judged – no excessive green here. But awfully pale in every respect. Not so much a luncheon claret as an elevenses one. (JR)

Dark crimson. Some curious oak (?) on the nose. Hint of buckwheat. Brawny. Very round and, for the vintage, thick. Acidity a little jagged on the finish. Not the liveliest, freshest 2007. A bit forced? Very drying end. (JR)
