Score 88-90/100 · Drink 2013-2020, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Feb 2012

The 2010 Gevrey-Chambertin shows lovely energy and focus in its dark red cherries, plums, flowers, spices and mint. I very much like the focus and overall sense of harmony. The Gevrey is a blend of three-quarters Les Seuvrées and one-quarter La Justice. It is a pretty, rewarding wine to drink over the next few years.

The 2010 Gevrey-Chambertin shows lovely energy and focus in its dark red cherries, plums, flowers, spices and mint. I very much like the focus and overall sense of harmony. The Gevrey is a blend of three-quarters Les Seuvrees and one-quarter La Justice. It is a pretty, rewarding wine to drink over the next few years. Anticipated maturity: 2013-2020. I continue to be impressed with the wines Benjamin Leroux is making under his own label. Leroux sources fruit from a number of top vineyards in the region. The wines are made in a facility Leroux shares with Nicolas Rossignol in the center of town. Unfortunately the 2010 Bonnes-Mares was too reduced to evaluate.
