2022 Domaine Guyon Vosne-Romanée Les Charmes de Mazières

(this is essentially an old vines cuvée from the same combination of Hautes-Maizières and Les Chalandins on the Flagey side). Once again there is enough wood present to point out on the even spicier nose of lavender, dark cherry and violet scents. There is better vibrancy to the delicious and generously proportioned middleweight flavors where firm but fine tannins support the lengthier finale. One to consider
