Score 92/100 · Drink 2026-2032, Billy Norris, Vinous, Jan 2026

The taut, mineral-drenched 2021 Sparkling Chardonnay Brosseau Vineyard turns out gently spiced aromatics of mulled cider, ginger, white pepper and underbrush, then kicks down the door with a bracing wallop of grippy, finely cut phenolics and salivating acids. It’s a very textural, linear wine that’s decidedly bound up today but is seriously powerful. Dosage is 3 grams per liter. Disgorged: April 2025.

Score 91/100 · Drink 2025-2030, Erin Brooks, Wine Advocate, Oct 2025

Disgorged in April of 2025, the 2021 Sparkling Chardonnay Brosseau Vineyard has alluring aromas of red apples and white stone fruit, rye bread, toast and honey. The light-bodied palate is dry with energetic mousse and a balance of fresh fruit and autolytic character. Bright, focused acidity adds tension, and it has a long, stony finish.
