1992 Domaine François et Antoine Jobard Meursault Les Genevrières 1er Cru

Anyone who has followed Jobard's wines knows they resemble the man - lean, stern, and needing time to express their personalities. That being said, I thought the 1992s were atypically austere and light. They were not as rich as Jobard's exceptional 1989s or fine 1990s. The 1992 Meursault-Le Poruzot is atypically backward, high in acidity, and austere. However, it displays adequate weight, and my instincts suggest there may be more to it than what I tasted.
