The 2021 Zinfandel Zampatti Vineyard is endowed with terrific density and power. Blue/purplish fruit, licorice, mocha and lavender are all amplified. There's tons of richness and volume here, but the 2020 is still finishing malolactic fermentation and all the elements aren't fully put together. Even so, the potential is evident.

The 2021 Zinfandel Zampatti Vineyard has a deep ruby color and is loaded with very pretty scents of Morello cherries, orange peel, licorice, mint, cardamom and amaro. The medium-bodied palate is gently chalky and seamlessly energetic, with highly concentrated, nuanced fruit and a very long, spicy finish.
