The 2019 Chablis Vent d'Ange has an attractive nose with peach skin and rose water scents—far more open and expressive than the 2020. The palate has a soft entry, slightly lower in acidity than the 2020, with good fruit concentration, lightly spiced towards the cohesive finish with just another bite to urge you back for another sip. Quite generous, this will be difficult to resist.

Mid lemon. Mature citrus and apple. The fruit is very ripe and powerful, and marked by the long 30-month barrel-ageing. No especially oaky flavour, but great concentration and rich texture. Long, expansive and powerful. (MH)

The 2019 Chablis Vent d’Ange was picked at 30hl/ha and is aged 70% in tank, 30% in barrel for 30 months. It has an attractive and very pure bouquet with scents of wild honey percolating through the white peach and light apricot aromas. The palate is well balanced with fine delineation. Light peppery notes emerge on the finish with a long tail. Fine.
