The 2014 de Chantegrive is a midweight wine with good aromatic lift and plenty of floral/savory overtones. Sweet red cherry, tobacco and spice add further character. The 2014 is perhaps a touch light, but it is also quite attractive. This savory, feminine Graves appears to be best suited for near-term drinking. Tasted two times.

Very creamy nose, cut with a strong citric character. Like lemon mousse. Bright, fairly broad texture and a nice touch of oak spice to finish. (RH)

The 2014 Chantegrive displays lovely purity and fine overall balance. Plums, red cherries, flowers and sweet spices add nuance in a soft, feminine wine that will drink well early. The mid-weight finish turns just a bit compact, otherwise this is a solid showing. Tasted twice.
