Cask sample. As always from this top-class Nuits address, the village wine over-delivers (and even more so in this vintage). Dark-cherry fruit, touch of damson on the palate. Good weight, concentrated and long with fine tannins and elegant use of oak. Not at all edgy – all the components are in the right place. GV (AWH)

The sleek, delicious and vibrant medium-bodied flavors possess a beguiling mid-palate texture while exhibiting very good length on the youthfully austere but only mildly rustic finale. This should drink well young but age well too over the mid-term
