The 2014 Angludet has a mature but fresh bouquet with effervescent red berry fruit, marmalade and light cedar-y scents. The palate is medium-bodied and lactic on the entry. It's missing a bit of freshness, with touches of leather and cooked meats towards the finish. I would drink this sooner rather than later. Tasted non-blind at the Southwold 10-Year-On tasting.

Magnum. Tasted blind. Good, deep, blackish ruby. Quite a bit of welcoming Merlot on the nose. Not the most concentrated but very nicely balanced with a light kick of tannin on the end. Good balance of fruit, maturity and price… (JR)

The 2014 d’Angludet has a light nose of red brambly fruit mixed with gravelly tones. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red fruit, cranberry and raspberry with a light, peppery and you might say, innocuous finish. This is quite forward but it has the substance to repay cellaring. Tasted blind at the annual Southwold tasting.

Tasted blind. Some freshness, sweetness and inkiness. Correct without being stunning. (JR)
