The 2015 Gevrey-Chambertin Symphonie is radiant, soft and super-expressive. Dark red cherry and plum notes abound in a racy, fruit-driven Gevrey that will drink well with minimal cellaring. The 2015 is an especially dark, deep wine with impeccable balance at its level. The Symphonie is a blend of three parcels. - Antonio Galloni

The 2015 Gevrey-Chambertin Cuvee Symphonie comes from the usual three parcels on the eastern side the appéllation. It has a perfumed bouquet with lively mulberry and dark plum aromas, hints of freshly tilled soil or pasture. The palate is medium-bodied with expressive dark chocolate-tinged red berry fruit, moderate weight although that will be filled out by the 35% new oak that will form the final blend. Give it just a year in bottle if you can.
