The 2005 from Beau Soleil is a nice, chunky, delicious, rather fleshy style of Pomerol, with a dense ruby/purple color, low acidity, plenty of caramelized black cherry and plum-like fruit, medium to full body, and good purity and length. Drink it over the next decade.

Still young and gassy on the nose. Embryonic wine but as far as I can tell this is competent middle-range Pomerol – slightly light fruit. Very dry finish. (JR)
