Medium red-ruby. Aromas of licorice, violet and blueberry. Supple dark berry fruit complicated by leather and mocha. A bit dry on the back half; I found myself wishing for a bit more flavor.

Strange combination of greenness and burnt aromas with a hint of meat extract! Oddly stewed nose – not quite enough freshness. Drying finish. Slightly awkwardly composed without quite enough real juice. (JR)
