Very ripe, leesy aromas of mandarin orange, lemon, banana, mint and spices; quite exotic for this wine. Juicy and bright but also nicely fleshy. This, too, is subtle and persistent on the back end. "This is usually like a good village wine, but this year it truly premier cru in quality," says Boillot.
