With rich, deep dark color, excellent fruit, some serious structure, but not excessive tannin by any means, this 2005 is medium-bodied, pure ripe and well-made. Drink it over the next 7-8 years.

This wine stood out for its meaty, spicy sweet fruit, though this was more pronounced on the nose than the palate. Lighter in the middle than I expected and a hint of bitterness on the finish. (JH)
