Much more fruit than the Savigny and this has taken on quite a bit of weight in bottle. Pretty chewy and dry on the finish but serious and it should age well. (JR)

Good medium red. Red fruits, resiny oak and an almost honeyed ripeness on the nose. Fat, round, soft and suave; dense and sweet. Two steps up in intensity and length from the basic Pernand. Very strong for this cuvee, with the tannins atypically ripe and smooth.

Light, slightly tired, overworked nose. Not enough matière in the middle. A bit dead and stringy. (JR)
