(a 70/20/10 blend of merlot, cabernet franc and cabernet sauvignon) Deep red. Aromas of licorice, violet, minerals and toffee. Juicy, bright and floral, with moderate density but an attractively rich texture and very good cut. Finishes aromatic and persistent, with building tannins.

Light crimson. Sweet nose with a slightly rasping oak character not unlike wood chips on the nose. Light and simple but no excess of tannins. (JR)
