Good deep red. Black fruits, mocha, smoke and a whiff of meat on the nose. Juicy, spicy and tight, with intense crushed black fruit and mineral flavors currently dominated by the wine's powerful spine. This is very ripe yet communicates an impression of urgent fruit. A real mineral bath on the back end, finishing aromatic and very long.

Good full red. Reticent, brooding aromas of black cherry and licorice. Creamy and sweet in the mouth, but rather unevolved and currently showing limited complexity. Today the wine's tannins come across as a tad dry.
