Tropical fruits, honey, mint, lime and almonds are some of the many scents that emerge from the 2012 Monbousquet Blanc. Vinification in oak (50% new), along with stirring of the lees, gives the wine much of its overt personality and lush, oily texture. Readers should expect a flamboyant white with expressive aromatics and plenty of depth. The blend is 67% Sauvignon Blanc and 33% Sauvignon Gris.
