Full yellow color. Ripe aromas of apple and clove. Round, ripe and concentrated if a bit youthfully stunted, with subdued flavors of peach, nectarine and minerals. Quite rich but nicely framed by ripe acidity. There's a good stony underpinning as well as more exotic honey and spice notes on the lingering, fresh finish.

Quite rich and smoky and sweet. Pretty hefty and dramatic. Not fine and restrained! Very slightly coarse. (JR)
