Musky, oily, very ripe aromas of tangerine and pineapple. Rich and concentrated, but nearly as dry as the 2000. Slightly lower acidity here produces a somewhat rounder impression, but the wine mineral core gives it shape and grip. Pure, harmonious and long. Quite different in style from the '00, but of roughly equal quality.
