Mid-crimson with a toasty nose. Not trying that hard but ending up with good balance and a fine expression of this particularly ripe, attractive vintage. (JR)

Full medium ruby. Withdrawn nose hints at cassis, licorice and mint. Shows sweet flavors of cassis and black raspberry but finishes with somewhat tough tannins. A rather extractive style, yet mostly avoids dryness.
