Nectarine, peach and nut oils on the nose. Sweet, spicy and fruit-driven; a distinctly succulent style of Batard, with substantial but well-buffered alcohol. Finishes harmonious, sweet and long, with strong fruit and nothing aggressive about it.

Complex nose melds grapefruit, pineapple, wet stone, minerals, pepper, menthol and white truffle. Fat, round and powerful, with rather elegant, steely flavors of pineapple and truffle. Tightly wound but not hard, though dominated by its structure today. Finishes very long, rich and uncompromisingly dry. This one, too, mounts impressively on the back end.
