Tasting notes
Score 88/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Sep 2014

(the 2012s were bottled in February and March of this year, with the exception of the Bourgogne Blanc, which was bottled in December of 2012): Pale yellow. Slightly reduced nose hints at ripe pear. Fairly large-scaled but rather inexpressive today, conveying an impression of elevated alcohol (actually 13.2%). The pear note carries through on the palate but this is not a particularly fruity wine. The dry finish shows good breadth. I find this a bit aggressive in the early going. (Incidentally, Boudot's Bourgogne Blanc offers an attractive balance of density, minerality and fresh citrus and white peach fruit and should make lovely early drinking.)
