Healthy dark red. Lovely expressive aromas of strawberry and mocha suggest a round wine. Then sweet, suave and seamless in the mouth, showing an enticing sugar/acid balance to the flavors of red fruits, earth and dried herbs. Finishes rich and long, with tannins covered in fruit. This reminded me of a smaller-scaled Bonnes-Mares.
