58% Cabernet Sauvignon, 31% Merlot, 4% Petit Verdot, 7% Cabernet Franc . Tasted blind. Aromatic. Lively. Round and almost ready! Very juicy, though a little simple and forward. (JR)

The 2014 Pouget shows a lot of new oak on the nose that obstructed the fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with saturated tannin, quite extracted but fortunately it retains balance. It is modern in style with a lick of dark chocolate coating the finish. Fine. Tasted blind at the annual Southwold tasting.

Tasted blind. Rich and smooth. Sweet and a hint of foxglove on the nose but not that concentrated. A bit dry on the end. (JR)
