Medium red. Musky red fruit aromas, with pungent garrigue and tobacco building with air. Old school, earthy raspberry and cherry flavors are firmed by youthful tannins. Finishes with serious grip and a strong anise quality. There's nothing modern about this.

Cask sample. 65% Grenache, 30% Syrah, 5% Mourvèdre . Medium deep crimson. Peppery fresh and a little herbal. Light with a slight spritz. Dry fresh tannins. Bit powdery. (JH)
