Score 90-92/100 · Drink 2017-2027, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Dec 2014

The 2013 Bâtard Montrachet Grand Cru, of which there are four barrels this year, has a strict, slightly discombobulated bouquet after the Charlemagne, as if it had forgotten its lines. Fortunately, the palate is crisp and taut with touches of peach and orange sorbet, a fine line of acidity and a pretty finish that lingers in the mouth. Fine, but not top-of-the-class compared to other growers.
